WWE Wrestelmania 40 LogoIn the world of sports, former WWE CEO Vince McMahon resigned from his position following allegations of sexual misconduct.

The claims came from former employee Janel Grant, who has filed a federal lawsuit against McMahon. Some of the accusations include being pressured into a sexual relationship, sharing of her explicit photos, and being pressured into sexual demands. McMahon has refuted these claims, stating his departure from CEO is one out of respect for the company.

Vince’s’ daughter Stephanie McMahon is slated to fill the role of CEO as Vince departs.

Unfortunately, the wrestling world isn’t the only sports scene seeing allegations, as 5 junior hockey players face sexual assault charges.

The players from Canada’s 2018 world junior team have been given until next week to surrender to London police. So far, Alex Formenton has been the first to come forward and turn himself in.

The allegations come from a young woman only identified as “e.m.” who claims she was nonconsensually assaulted by the 5 in a hotel room after a hockey related event.
The question of consent remains the biggest factor in the case. The remaining four accused are Michael McLeod, Cal Foote, carter hart, and Dillon Dube.
